“Communication off-line” – the debut exhibition of art paintings from artist Tamila Zeynalova.

May 18, 2018 in Bishkek in the gallery “Oak Park” as part of the annual action “Night of Museums” opens the first personal exhibition of paintings from Bishkek artist Tamila Zeynalova.

The exposition will feature eleven works, united by the artist in the series “Communication off-line”. The key visual element of each of these works is a line that symbolizes an intangible flow of communication connecting people.
“We exist along the thin line of this stream, we are not black and not white, not colored and not gray, we are the same line between,” says Tamila Zeynalova. “In these works, I set myself the task of reflecting all the charm, the vital need, and sometimes the unattainable luxury of simple living communication, without the mediation of electronic devices.”

Although felts – the natural material with which the artist works – is traditionally used by masters of applied art, in her author’s series “Communication off-line” it is applied for graphic, almost picturesque images, using such unique advantages of this material as the possibility of color mixing and rich texture.

The official opening of the exhibition will be held on May 19 at 15:00.
